Janus is the Roman god of transition and thereby the guardian of doors, he is depicted as having two faces, at the same time looking forward and backward.

Convinced that we live in a transitional period, Côme Perché transformed the two human faces of Janus using animal heads. Looking into the future and the past at the same time, these heads ask the question of the survival of species and the one pertaining to the human persistence.

This collection of 5 pieces has been selected for the 2015 Médiatine Award exhibition.
